  • Went for a CCW class day before yesterday. They allowed someone to show up an hour late and still have a seat. This was his first time getting a CCW and I was surprised they allowed someone to show up so late and stay in class. Everyone else was there for the full slotted time. The instructor Stephanie was very dramatic and cocky ! She made it clear more than once she was an offensive shooter and a well oiled machine ready to go ! CCW course is supposed to be a defensive type class for civilians no one cares how badass you think you are. She gave some bad information as well. Sarge the other instructor was decent until the end when he bragged about himself and the other instructors as "bad people" and 90 percent of the world was bad he and Stephanie were bad and would always take the shot. He also mentioned how he was an interrogator back in his day when torture was allowed and he "got answers" back then. What this has to do with a civilian CCW course I have no idea ?! This was probably not accurate and just showing off for a bunch civilians who don't know any better and even if true that information does not belong in a CCW course. They should both be more careful what they say and how they portray themselves. I have a 19 year resume working from special ops in military and other agencies in our government and have been around the world. Listening to these two BS for hours was annoying and unprofessional in my opinion. I have 26 other guys I work with who will NOT be taking the CCW course and Range 702 ! One of he worst shooter courses as far as instructors I've ever been through and I've been through a lot !! Two thumbs down ! Go get your CCW someplace else.
