| - Originally, I planned to leave the lot and leave a one star review detailing the horrible experience here. But an amazing saleswoman saved the day!
I came here to test drive some cars as I finally decided to get my permit recently and I'm starting classes at a driving school to work towards receiving my driver's license. The plan was to get a car after receiving my license, so I wanted to view some in person to see if the cars at the top of my list were really what I wanted. My mother came with me, and we started off with a very tan salesman in shorts and a polo (if I'm remembering right) who was wearing glasses. We explained as soon as we came in that we were only looking to test drive and that we wanted to figure out the car for me. Once this tan salesman caught a whiff of it and realized we were not changing our minds, he lied to us and said he had another customer and that he'd get someone else for us. We stood out by the Jeeps waiting and waiting in the very scorching heat and no one came for several minutes. Multiple salespeople walked past us without a word. Finally, we were fed up and went to walk off to the car to leave.
Right as we were doing that, we were graced with the WONDERFUL presence of Tawny Anderson. We mutually decided to give her a chance as she had a very warm and kind presence, and we also didn't want to have to come back again until it was time to pick out my car. We reiterated we weren't interested in purchasing today but that we were looking to test drive the models I liked most. Tawny was AMAZING and let me test drive the Jeep I wanted most and I quickly figured out it wasn't what I wanted. Tawny guided me in the right direction, and quickly found other cars for us to also test drive. I ended up falling in love with a completely different make and model entirely. She was so patient and it meant everything to me. I knew about pushy salesman who only care about the sale all too well and she was the complete opposite. Which, by the way, I spotted the tan salesman just dinking around in the back and not with another customer while waiting for Tawny to pull up a car for us to try. Tawny's lack of shoving it down my throat made me want to make the sale more. If it weren't for the fact I didn't want my car to sit in the garage for a few months until I get my license, Tawny might have actually made the sale right then and there with her kind attitude and the costs being quoted. However, I want to be able to drive my car off the lot when I get it so I opted to wait.
Joke is on that tan salesman, though. I came in looking to find (and eventually buy) a used SUV and Tawny has talked me into eventually purchasing a brand new SUV. I'm glad that I have someone I can trust and feel comfortable with to make my first car purchase with within the next few months, and I'm honestly glad that rude tan salesman decided to opt out. His loss is Tawny's gain and I'll be back to this dealership to purchase my first car just because of her. Thank you Tawny!! And please note the docked star is only for the poor experience with the tan salesman, NOT because of Tawny.
