  • This place is more than amazing! I scheduled engagement photos and wanted to look my best. Since I don't have any makeup skills I turned to Yelp and discovered The Sparkle Bar. The reviews were great but I was still skeptical. I've never had a good experience getting my makeup done... until now! I walked in very nervous and I was greeted by Noa (my makeup artist) and Leigha. They were both SO genuinely sweet that I was immediately more comfortable. I showed Noa 2-3 pictures of what I was going for and she said that's what she was thinking for me already. I was amazed at how quickly she worked. Other reviews mentioned they don't sell products at the salon which was a good thing and I totally agree. I wasn't pushed toward a product. Noa used products that worked for me, not something she could sell to me. At the end of the session, she even gave me a sample of lipstick to help touch-up during my engagement shoot. This came in handy because I ended up eating lunch between my appt and photos. Not only did Noa make me look great, she also made me feel great. She engaged in conversation and pointed out my stronger features that I never really noticed. This gave me more confidence for my photos. Leigha was working on a client next to me and I couldn't help how gorgeous her work was, too. I highly recommend The Sparkle Bar! I loved the experience so much I already booked my wedding day with them!
