| - I'm not sure why it took me so long to get to Gaucho, but I'm so glad I finally made it! Seriously, so amazing. If you're looking for flavorful food, reasonable prices, a different dining experience, and great service -- this is the place.
I went for dinner with a friend and we decided to order a bunch of things and split them. We first started with the meat and cheese plate and then got the rosemary braised beef sandwich, which came on really thick ciabatta bread and was so delicious. The beef alone was very flavorful, but if you want to add an extra punch go ahead and try one of the 4 sauces they provide at a table in the middle of the restaurant. We went with vegetables and humita (a SPICY corn pudding -- soo good) on the side. Oh, and we got empanadas - one steak and one chicken. Everything was excellent..we didn't leave hungry.
The dining atmosphere is a bit different in that you come into the restaurant, wait in line to order, give your order, and then find a seat and wait until they call your name/bring your food over to you. The food didn't take long to come out and it's BYOB with a $0 cork fee..what could be better than that?
