The amusement park was previously named Paramount Canada's Wonderland but changed when the new owner took over. This is the largest amusement park in Toronto, but a bit difficult to reach by public transport. The best way to reach here is by the 400 highway. There are two parts to the park- a water themed section named splash works and the amusement rides. Splash works is not particularly exciting, although it is still fun, enjoyable and refreshing in summer. As for the other rides, that section is quite big, housing a huge amount of rides here (more than 66 thrill rides as per their website), so you can spend more than one day here. There are also activities for younger children such as Dora the Explorer. Although the entrance fee is a bit pricey, they offer a season pass for CAD 77 or CAD 66 for renewal. The food is also pricey, but what can you expect for an amusement park! The waiting time for some of the popular rides during summer is a bit long though. Be prepared and remember to bring some cold drinks!
