| - 3rd time's the charrrr .... Meh. I was able to go the past two years, and this year I got heavily discounted VIP tix. My experience at the 3rd LIB was disappointing compared with the years past.
Trash - a little better this year, I could actually see workers picking up trash, though they seemed to disappear at night.
Culinary - nice representation of local spots. Expected a little more "famous chef" spots though.
The VIP culinary demo area was a little weird. I kinda felt bad for the folks doing the demo there, there just wasn't enough people interested in the VIP area.
Art - Banksy! Art Motel! And some weird circus thingy in the Art Motel.
VIP - I expected more from the VIP area. It was lined with grass, and there was a bar. That's about it. No good views compared with GA, no special perks. Not to mention the people in the Hyde Out kept throwing their drinks at us. Not worth it.
Music - I enjoyed Death Cab for Cutie, Stevie Wonder, Edward Sharpe, Glass Animals.. When I heard about Insomniac and the Troubadour Stage, all I could think was "plz don't make this into EDC!" Thankfully, they contained it to just that stage.
Learning - I didn't stay too long for some of the speakers, but I liked The Venue and the fact that they even have this TEDx-ish thing at the festival. However, like other's have said, they should have given Bill Nye a different venue/area to speak at. It just couldn't accommodate all the people there waiting to see him.
I don't think I'll be going to next year's unless there's a super crazy musician/band I wanted to see.
