The Crowfoot location has helpful and friendly staff. They were especially helpful when I was trying to figure out how to print something from one of the library computers. There's free Wi-Fi provided you have a library card, you just need to enter your library card number and pin to connect to the network. I noticed that my cellphone remembered my card number, which was great since it's so frustrating to have to enter the whole number in on my small phone screen every time I go to the library.
Settling in front of the windows by the children's and teen's sections is my favourite spot to be. But it can also be a curse on a sunny day since there are no blinds over these windows, making it unbearably bright at times.
There are several tables in this area, with outlets at the majority of them. The outlets are located in metal hollows in the ground. So they're not easily visible, but they are conveniently located at your feet.
This is a well visited library, and the tables I talked about are a prime locale for laptop users but also for group projects. There's always at least one spot to find but the outlets are definitely snatched up pretty fast. Be warned that it can get a bit distracting at times when the children are playing with the toys in the children's section.
