I don't consider myself needy but I do expect some attention when I go into JCPenney. How long has this store been around?
It is Saturday morning in April 2016. I am looking for a percolator. I am side tracked by a sale in costume jewelry - where I knock over a large broom leaning on one of the displays. Crack, the long handle hits the floor. I am the only person who notices this. I pick it up and prop it up back where it was.
Back on track and the hunt for a percolator gee I think it would be nice to find a human being to ask. After several minutes searching through Keurigs and Mr. Coffees I think - ok next store. On the way out I almost collide with a woman in a red JCPenney outfit - hello do you know if you carry percolators? You need to ask someone else there at the counter and she points to an empty counter and scurries away.
That is what I did too.
