Browns mountain has a handful of trails that are open to mountain biking so something to beware of if you don't like moving out of the way for bikes.
I've only done cone mountain circumference here and that's a good easy hike, great for beginners.
The trail is well kept and wow the wildflowers in the spring are really something! The group I hike with always stops at the "hugging cactus" to take a picture which is about a halfway point for cone mountain circumference.
This is a great recreation area with good options for hiking or mountain biking (and probably horseback riding)-worth the bit of trek.
