  • Such a great experience at this hotel. As a Hilton Honors member I stay 99% of the time only at their chain. There were several on the strip and after spending the week in Vegas I'm so glad I did. First off our flight came in at 8am Vegas time (Keep in mind we're from Kentucky) so we were jetlag (that's an understatement but a total different story). We called ahead to see if we could do an early check in and of course I was way too early on that but it didn't hurt to ask I thought. We went and ate breakfast then went to check out the hotel. Check in is typically at 3 but the lady at the desk was so incredibly nice and told me to check back at noon. We looked around the hotel for a bit and by noon we actually had a room ready as requested. The room was clean, smelled fresh and after running into the room service lady all week (very hospitable). The stay was great. Everything was literally as best as I can imagine it to be especially after visiting several other hotels on the strip. Parking is free as is the wifi. Although I suspect that daily resort fee has something to do with that. Best thing about the Tropicana is that it's on the first part of the strip right past Luxor right by the MGM. Many of the hotels especially in the middle of the strip were unbelievable log crowded with folks like ourselves just wandering around Vegas. Those places were nice to visit but the Tropicana was marvelous to stay at. I would and will highly recommend it to others!
