I went to the Golden Steer for a birthday dinner and the time spent was both good and bad. The first and foremost thing is, the food is pretty good. The bad thing is, for a dinner averaging $110 per person, the food should be served hot. It's pretty bad when the food arrives cold or lukewarm and the table has to send the entire meal back. The staff was apologetic and the food came back a second time; some was hot while some was still lukewarm.
I'll go back in the future, but it won't be coming out of my pocket.
