  • This place lives up to its reputation! This evening, we tried 3 menu items at the Decatur location: The Bulgogi enchiladas, seafood tacos, and Bulgogi cheesesteak (mozzarella and provolone; onions and peppers). We all were pleasantly surprised by the house salsas and sauces, but the Bulgogi meat was easily the best part of our meal! Everything was perfectly seasoned, piping hot, and delicious. The fried food was good, but not as exciting as their non-fried items. Portion sizes are adequate to generous, and pricing reflects this. As amazing as the food was, the experience was really enhanced by the service we received tonight. Ken was our server and explained several nuances of the dishes which newcomers will appreciate. We felt that the staff was truly passionate about what was being served and sought absolute customer satisfaction. (TIP: Pay in cash and get 5% off your order total!) This is definitely not a place to dress up for (very potent aromas will stay with you for a while), but the food and service were excellent! If you're looking for affordable and exceptional fusion cuisine, KoMex is a must!
