| - This review is directly written for the manager, not the staff or the gym itself.
First of all, in all fairness it's a nice gym. It's never too crowded and it does have what I need in daily workouts. The employees/staff here are always nice and polite, never have a problem with anyone of them.
The manager on the other hand is definitely on the bitchy side--I don't mean to put anyone down but she really was behaving in that manner . She actually started talking down to me on the phone by saying"um well you don't have any option here. oh you're gonna keep paying for your membership till we sign your cancellation letter. That's why we want you the send the mail" after I specifically told her I already cancelled it last year. You didn't receive the letter but it's your words against mine, what can you do to me? Lol. And you're telling me what to do with MY bank card? It's getting a little delusional here. I said,"no, I'm not gonna pay for the amount after I cancelled it, you can keep repeating yourself but we aren't getting anywhere, so you can drop your attitude." She then started saying she's gonna freeze my account and have me send out another letter but turned out she never did. I went to the location the same night and the girl that worked there helped me cancel it--it was so effortless and nobody seemed to give a shit, except this bitchy manager that's so impersonal, rude, and eventually made herself look stupid. I did get what I want at the end, but the experience in dealing with her wasn't pleasant. I will still be a customer to planet fitness because I do like the gym and the staff. But PF...you guys need to have a higher standard in hiring your managers...otherwise that is not a way to keep your customers.
