  • We tried to go here for the some college football game that seemed to be a pretty big deal. It was too full and they were kind enough to tell us that it would probably be a REALLY long time to get a table. Appreciated the honesty. We left and decided to try again another day. That day came after a long hike. We were craving a cold crappy beer and they came through for us. They did have a pretty extensive list for beer and cocktail options so it's not all about crappy beer. We ordered the Apps special of green chili smothered fries (or tots) and they brought out the smothered fries from the menu. Whoops. Eventually our waitress came back and we asked about the other fry option. She apologized and took the fries back. The woman who actually brought the fries came over and apologized and said she would take care of it for us. They were all really nice about it which I think is a bonus. I hate sending things back but these were not the fries we ordered and the apps special fries were way better! So glad they took care of it and got the right ones out. Yum! That aside our firecracker chicken sandwich was tasty! I like having a variety for side options instead of just fries so we got the onion strings. Overall this place has the sports bar thing down. Nice patio, big bar, and solid menu. We'll certainly visit again since it's right down the street from our house. Also, love the free ride home option! More bars should do that!
