| - I have been a long time COX Cable customer, but I am increasingly frustrated, fed up, ready to quit this company and either switch to another cable company or cut the cord and go online. COX used to really go out of its way to make its customers happy, but NO LONGER!! COX now is all about PROFIT, PROFIT, PROFIT!!! For the past several years, COX has increased their rates while cutting more and more channels and having more JUNK CHANNELS while paying HIGHER RATES!!! Also, I am sick of COX channels going out!!
My recent experience is a good example. I went to one of their COX stores in person. I complained to one of their customer service representatives about several channels being suddenly eliminated without warning while my COX bill WENT UP YET AGAIN!!
I asked if I could customize my channels. NO, I was told. COX ONLY BUNDLES I was told!!! The customer service representative solution was UP SELL me a MORE EXPENSIVE BUNDLE package!!! As SENIOR on a FIXED INCOME, I explained, I couldn't afford this more expensive bundle. In fact, my current COX bill is a stretch for my INCOME. Did the cox representative care?? NO!!.
Well, I HAVE HAD IT!! I AM DONE with this TERRIBLE SERVICE and COMPANY!!!
