  • Came here just to kill a couple of hours before a conference started and ended up absolutely loving it. Tons of different types of birds and well-organized exhibits where you can get really really close to our feathered friends, especially in the grassland and wetland exhibits. They do frequent feedings throughout the day and a nice talk on the penguins in their habitat. Part of the exhibit is outside and part inside. The facility is an easy, pleasant walk (in good weather) from downtown. The cafe inside serves decent sandwiches and wraps if you want to combine your tour with a meal.
