  • Worst attitude I have experienced with a doctor yet. I get frequent ear infections that turn into sinus infections that never seem to clear up all the way. On my first visit, Dr. Weingarten seemed patient enough. He explained his thoughts, listened to my concerns and said if he couldn't come up with another solution he would put tubes in my ears to see if that would relieve the pain. He asked me to obtain a copy of a previous CT I had done for my follow up visit. By my follow up visit, my ears were hurting again. But Dr. Weingarten was in a rush because "he was going to be late for his plans after work". I didn't ask to be scheduled at 4:30. His associate gave me a hearing test, he looked at the CT and he told me I'm losing my hearing. I need hearing aides in both ears and to see an immunologist for the ear infections. He would not give me anything to give to my primary care doctor for a referral to this immunologist. I got no information on how to obtain hearing aides or even a referral for those. They left me crying in the waiting room for twenty minutes waiting for the nurse for no reason (she was trying to burn the CT onto a disk for me even though I repeatedly told her I didn't need it. She couldn't burn the disk anyway.) I was crying because I am 41 and I believe if someone would stop these monthly ear infections, I'd be able to hear a pin drop again. I shouldn't need hearing aides. The man never even looked in my ears!!! I called back a few times then returned the following week with a full blown upper respiratory and double ear infection and Dr. Weingarten informed me that he is not able to see patients for every "little cold and sniffle because he is a one person practice". Had he given me antibiotics or done ANYTHING related to his job on the appointment the week before, I wouldn't have gotten so sick. Thank God my primary care doctor took care of the infection. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still recovering from it. This rude, heartless man should not be allowed to interact with other humans.
