  • DO NOT TRUST THIS SALON WITH YOUR HAIR. I came here after reading the number of good yelp reviews it had, and I went home with regrets and awful hair. My stylist was Kai. While he was very nice and chatty, he is a TERRIBLE and UNTRAINED hairstylist and does not listen to what his client wants. Saying he screwed up my hair is an understatement. I was so mortified by the results that I just left the salon as politely as I could without crying, I did not want him touching my hair anymore. Instead of cutting off six inches as I requested, he ending up cutting off TWELVE INCHES of my hair. In addition to that, my haircut looks like a hackjob that was done by a child wielding a bread knife. The left side of my hair is uneven and VERY NOTICEABLY lopsided compared to the right side of my hair (see photo). He also did not thin out or layer the hair from the inside either, so my hair looks stiff and does not hang well. I came in with very long hair that came down to my butt, and I was looking to cut off the fairly damaged ends of my hair. Kai stood me up in front of the mirror and asked me how much I wanted to cut off, I said about six inches. He pointed to my navel (I was wearing a crop top at the time) and said, "Just above your bellybutton right?" To which I confirmed yes, that was the length I wanted it at. He began by cutting the ends of my hair dry, which should have been a red flag for me. The ends of my hair were damaged and I thought he would just work on refining the last few inches after he washed my hair, he took off about 3-4 inches dry. After the wash he began cutting my hair and made small talk. He mentioned that he took off "a little bit more" than I requested before he finished my cut, but boy was I in for a surprise. After my hair was dry, my hair came halfway down my chest, instead of just above the navel as I requested.... I asked for six inches off but he took TWELVE. There is no way any trained stylist could grossly miscalculate cutting off a half-foot of hair, there are no excuses for this. And as I also mentioned earlier, he did nothing to thin out and layer the body of my hair. He did not show me the back of my hair before I left the salon, so I was in for another surprise when I arrived home. When I was looking in the mirror, I noticed from the side that my hair was strangely ragged and uneven. So when I got someone to take a picture of my hair from the back, I was horrified to see a large chunk of hair on my left side was a good two inches shorter than the rest of my hair. I was charged $45 for the haircut, but I'll probably have to pay more to fix up what remains of the butchering.
