| - OMG, hilarious! This place was really the only option for me when I got stranded in Phoenix. My plane was delayed out of St Louis, so I missed my connecting flight in Phoenix. American Airlines did not care to help me find a hotel for the night and with my 2% left of battery on my phone, I didn't have much choice. Every place I called were completely booked and the ones that did have availability did not have a shuttle... Howard Johnson did have a shuttle as long as you were ok with a round about way of getting there. Even though it's only a couple miles from the airport, it took about 45 mins to arrive. The reason for this is because you have to take the shuttle for long term parking, drop everyone off at their cars, then it takes you to this hotel. I recommend taking an Uber; I did on my way back to the airport the next morning. When I arrived there wasn't anyone at the counter and after ringing a bell a lady with not much on comes out, turns around, goes back into the office, then comes out with her work attire on... weird. Well, this is a long enough review; it only gets worse. The only good thing about this hotel is the 24/7 taco stand down the street--its ghetto though, so walk at your own risk.
