rev:text	Larry has worked on both my vehicles: '95 Ford Explorer (which I dubbed "The Batmobile," but my daughter called it "Raggedy Ann") and a '05 Toyota Highlander. His prices are reasonable and I've never had a problem with any work he's performed. You supply the parts and he supplies the labor. Real simple. Cutting out the chain manufacturer's overhead saves you a great deal of money. When Larry worked on my Batmobile, I swear he literally brought "Lazarus to life." That van had been thru a war zone (figuratively). I hadn't owned a car in 15 years and was desperate to buy one so that I could get to work. My desperation got me jipped. The hoopty was leaking from every orfice and stalled on me the day I bought it. The van became my "pet project." I'd never worked on a car before, more less did anything beyond putting in gas and changing the oil. Buying a service manual helped me to identify its' systems and have the suggested maintenance performed. Then the hunt for a good, reasonable priced mechanic was on. I ran into Larry while purchasing a secondhand tire, in my neighborhood, and was short a few dollars. Larry offered to pay the difference and I caught him eyeballing my Hoopty. I asked him if he was a mechanic and told him " Help! If you work on my van, it'll be a good Christmas for you afterall." He laughed and gave me his card. Since then, it's been ONNNNNN like a pot of neckbones. Larry replaced its' hoses, radiator, pump, belts, plugs, fluids, rotors, pads, calipers, thermostat, condenser, compressor, heater core, blower motor, various sensors, motor mounts and resurfaced the engine heads. Need I say that the Explorer ran good when Larry got through? I haven't had quite as many problems with the Highlander, as the Explorer. Nevertheless, Larry has done some work on it also. Thus far, he's replaced the lower control arms, oil changes, timing belt and plugs. Overall, I've been very pleased with Larry's work. Check him out...
