  • Although the name is a mouthful, the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is simply breathtaking. The views are synonymous with the outstanding citizens after which the bridge is named. Drive over it or do that pedestrian thing... I recommend both. It's free to view. Free to walk or drive across. Free parking nearby... well, kind of nearby. Bring walking shoes and a water bottle! In mid-September, expect the temperatures to reach triple digits by the time it's noon. There are stairs AND ramps, so it is wheelchair accessible. Only service dogs allowed. Hoover Dam is incredible to walk around on and even tour, but if you are en route to, say, Vegas or L.A. and don't have time, then at least make a stop here. RIP O'Callaghan & Tillman.
