  • Ahhhhh Lilly's chocolates. I can't even begin to describe how happy I was to find this store. A wonderful gift to take to a dinner party, give a friend, or treat yourself. I knew and patronized Lilly's before they were mentioned in the NYT, but that's the hook I use to take my out of town friends to visit. See, first you have to hit the West Side Market - oooooh aaaaah - wish we had something like this . . . Then to add insult to injury for their hometown, we tool over to Lilly's for chocolates to take home. But they never make it home. Never worry though you poor schmucks without Lilly's within driving range, Lilly's will ship. And DESPITE THE HATERS ON HERE, I have always been treated graciously and patiently. My biggest sorrow about Lilly's is that due to state liquor laws, they ahd to quit using liquor - so there goes my favorite with bourbon and candied pecans. Not to worry, there are enough to make up for this! Treat yourself, your partner, you coworker, your children - if they are old enough to enjoy. We have to keep this business going because it is a treasure.
