  • WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Upon arrival I was told patio was self seating, first come first serve. WE had party of about 8-10 we had called to make reservations for the ASU game. Uncle Bears was one of the few bars in Chandler that had the PAC12 network. We were told that they were not take reservations because of the game. Once we arrive we discover a party of 3 tables pushed together with reservation signs on them... thought they didn't take reservations? What makes that party so special compared to the other patrons? That definitely was a terrible first impression. Once we got our tables situated we placed our order. We order 3 drinks on the rocks and one of their beers. 20 mins later that cocktails come out but no beer. Another 15 mins later goes by and still no beer. The original server named Tia finally came by the table to inform us she did not forget the beer and that the bar was just backed up? Well if you didn't forget then why did the 3 cocktails come out first w/o the beer? And the cocktail were wrong! We had order rocks drinks expected 2oz standard pour over ice, and we got shots! I asked the bartender to fix them and he fills new glasses packed full of ice and dumps the shots in. Still not satisfied with his technique but at least we have ice. We ordered two more rounds on the rocks and each time they still came out as shot. It was very frustrating. WE had placed a food order and the appetizer was brougth out by another server who said she would be back with plates... never saw her or the plates. At the end a waitress named Michelle who had been there a few short weeks came by and started getting our orders and taking care of making sure we had refills when we were getting low and placed out food order for Tia who was way in over her head. She was the only saving grace and we thank her and ope that she was tipped out properly since Tia is the one who closed and processed our payments. NOT once did a manager come over and do table touches with any of the patrons there. They were clearly understaffed and the service staff could use more training. Maybe had the two patio servers tagged team all the parties on the table there would've been a less wait time instead of handling the tables individually. The food we ordered was good unfortunately service was awful and as a former bartender I would be skeptical to go back and try it again and sit at the bar.
