| - EDIT: The shop has finally moved to its bigger space located on the back corner of the swapmeet!
So I have been going to Arkham almost every week for the past 7 months (not exaggerating). Needless to say it has the best vintage selection in town. If you are a serious collector you would be a damn fool to not check this place out!
His grading is by far one of the best in town. Daniel, the owner of this divine place, is a hard and fair grader when it comes to his inventory (His VG's make other people's VG's look like a 2.0, and his VF+ would probably be other people's VF/NM, NM-)
Not only is his grading fair, his prices are the cheapest you will see! (I bought a Silver Surfer #1 in VF condition for a steal! I would post the price but out of respect for him and his business, go ask him).
CASH ONLY, he has a reason for that (I suggest you ask)
He only specializes in back issues and that's what keeps many repeat customers coming! Also people visit just to speak with Daniel.
I have gotten to know Daniel and I always end up staying for around 1-2 hours each day just to talk about comics or other things. Daniel has given me advice in collecting, grading, storing my comics. He takes no BS, but is a really friendly guy. He has people from out of state come to visit him (Check out his youtube channel: ArkhamComicsLasVegas !!!!!)
DO NOT let the fact that he is in an indoor swapmeet fool you! There have been many people who had their doubts but ended up leaving with a smile after visiting Arkham.
Overall, Get your ass to Arkham Comics and Collectibles if you just want to explore the world of comics, chat it up with Dan, and especially if you want the nicest and cleanest vintage and modern books in town.
Oh yeah, if your a fan of horror, Dan is the person you want to talk to.
