rev:text	"Dad, are you working?" Other reviewers wrote that Dr Kutler has no bedside manner, didn't care to get to know her patients and made assumptions about their lifestyles. I have to concur. My first---and only---visit with Dr Kutler was extremely negative. For starters: our appointment was at 3pm. She didn't come in our room til 4:15. This was our first visit with our 6 day old daughter. Dr Kutler never introduced herself. Never shook my hand. Never asked how we were. Didn't even acknowledge us by our names. When she saw that We're self-pay patients, she looked at my husband and said, "Why don't you have insurance? Dad, are you working?" We were both really taken aback at her assumption that my husband must not have a job. Of note: my husband has long hair. I believe that Dr Kutler judged him by his appearance and made an ignorant assumption that she did not even try to hide. It only got worse from there: i had informed the nurse prior to seeing Dr Kutler that I want to delay the Hep B vaccine until 2 months of age (this is not uncommon. There is an alternate vaccination schedule. See Dr Sears's "The Vaccine Book.") Dr Kutler kept assuming that we were anti-vaxxers. We had to tell her 3 times during our conversation that we believe wholeheartedly in vaccines, we simply want to delay the first one. She never bothered to listen to me. She never asked me my concerns about giving the vaccine. She just swooped into the room and gruffly, militantly insisted that I must follow the standard vaccination schedule. She never let me finish a sentence. She was constantly cutting me off. It's unfortunate bc though I came to her office with an informed opinion, I would have been willing to change my mind about the vaccine had she had a conversation with me and addressed my concerns. But i got the distinct impression that she didn't care about what's best for me and my family, so when she said she wouldn't accept us as patients if we didn't administer the Hep B vaccine right then, i told her we wouldn't be a good fit for each other. I couldn't wait to get out of her office.
