  • Uncle George's Place has saved me on countless occasions, when I have been stuck at work with no lunch and only pub fare in sight. They have any kind of sprout you could think of, and you can buy them in containers on their own or assembled into a salad with the most amazing spicy chickpea dressing (don't knock it until you have tried it, it looks like French dressing but is completely addictive!). They are also a total bargain - a well-balanced and nutritious salad for $5.50 with dressing in this neighbourhood is a rare find.
