I have been anticipating this place for a while. Downtown Henderson is near my home and I work across the street on certain days of the week. I was stalking the internet for months to find out when they would open and was happy to see it all come together.
The interior has a welcoming and fun vibe. I love the style and set up -- and plenty of seating near large open windows. My first order was a Tres Leches Latte and a Pesto Chicken Sandwich. The Tres Leches was milky and sweet - like the dessert - but not too sweet, which I like. The Teddy Bear Graham on top is cute touch. The sandwich was ok. I was not in love with it (it was slightly cold in the middle), but I'm willing to try out more of their food options. They're new and I love that they support the local community with the coffee they offer - Mothership and local beer varieties. I haven't been here for dinner or Happy Hour, but I plan to in the future.
I'm excited to see what's to come from Public Works. Great new addition to the neighborhood!
