Came in here on a Thursday night. It wasn't very busy and I sat at the bar in the tavern. The tavern is upscale but still somewhat on the casual side. Plenty of people were wearing jeans. They had some nice couches for groups. I ordered the tavern burger and a beer. They have a very extensive and interesting wine list but only had about five beers on tap. Fortunately one of them was Alpine duet which is new to Pittsburgh and quite good. I went with that. The burger was very good...one of the better ones I've had in Pittsburgh. It came with fries and a pickle. The fries were good but not great. Service at the bar was excellent.
