rev:text	I don't typically write reviews but am feeling the need to after my recent experiences with this apartment complex. They are currently "renovating" which apparently made them feel that they could raise their rent yet almost none of their amenities are, or have been, available for the past month. You have to deal with constant noise from construction and the gym hasn't been available for a month now. When you approach the staff regarding it they're rude and condescending with basically a "get over it" attitude. I have lived here for almost three years now and they are constantly "losing my proof of renter's insurance" and harassing me to come in and fill out paperwork that they should have on file but they seem unable to keep track of. They no longer even provide a night drop box for their tenants even though a significant amount of people here work night shift and their policy for late rent is an automatic 50 dollar charge after the first day of being late. They have two pools and hot tubs which would be nice but the hot tub in the back pool area hasn't worked for two months and the pool is constantly broken in the back. Their AC units on the second floor work atrociously and the vaulted ceilings just call for higher electric bills bringing my power bill last summer all the way up to a whopping 250 dollars just in a one bedroom apartment with only one tenant and the living room was still unbearably hot all summer. They have security gates that never work and, as I stated, most of the staff is incredibly rude. As soon as my lease terminates I will definitely be moving to one of the many other, better communities in the area which offer cheaper rent. The amenities are the only thing that makes this place any more desirable but they are just for show since they aren't even usable. They also do not even offer concessions for staying any longer as a matter of fact my rent has gone up 200 dollars a month over the past two years and this is NOT a nice area. Honestly, just walking your dog in this community alone after sunset is nerve wrecking. The only time you see security guards is when they are locking you out of the pool areas (all amenities close at a ridiculously early hour of ten o'clock). Don't rent from these people there are a ton of better choices in the area.
