This is a typical New York deli plopped into northwest Las Vegas. They provide large portions... with large attitudes and prices to go with them. I find the bagels at other bagel shops (like Einstein Bagels) more flavorful and less gummy and I was not impressed with the black cookie I received with my order. The bakery items in the cakes and specialty item case looked really tasty. I also saw they had halvah, not commonly available in Vegas.
The schmear was terrific (I had the low-fat veggie) and the vegetables on my asiago bagel were fresh. The pickle was so fresh that it tasted much more like salty cucumber than pickle. My meal came with chips. When I asked to change the plain chips for another flavor of the same brand and size, I was told: "This is what comes with the meal."
The service is typical New York--they weren't mean, but they certainly won't go out of their ways to greet you with a smile or make you feel comfortable.
