  • I've been with this pharmacy for at least 15 years when it was known as the Apothecary Shop. We knew everyone there and service always great. Since Avella bought it the operation has been chaos. I have been willing to give it some time chalking the problems up to start-up issues but I give up. If you call you'll likely have to leave a message and you may or may not get a call back. Never assume they have your Meds in stock even standard prescriptions and be prepared to wait a couple of days but you wont find that out until you go to pick it up. They will not call you to tell you as "the workload would be too great to do that". And if its near closing they'll do nothing to help you transfer the prescription to another pharmacy. This being on a Friday their advice was to wait until Monday for a prescription that was to be started immediately. This isnt a one time problem but an ongoing issue for prescriptions for the entire family. Not good medicine and not good business. Going to Walgreens down the street.
