  • It's a little confusing at Phoenix if it's the first time using Silver Car (you have to walk a bit past where the normal rental car place is) but the CS at silver car is great about explaining it. We had requested two car seats - one booster and one 5 point harness - and I had even emailed with Silvercar asking exactly what seats would be provided. They replied back with serial numbers to the seats and manufacturer dates, so I was pretty satisfied that they would be safe seats that weren't expired or gross. When our car was brought to us... there were two booster seats. I panicked for a minute but the guy helping us was quick to make a phone call and said one of his co-workers was driving over the 5 point harness immediately. Maybe 10 minutes later and he was there with the correct seat. I'll add that renting car seats with silver car is also free. It was the exact seat we had emailed about and installation was pretty seamless. The car was clean and came with everything they said it would. We didn't have to deal with an up sale, dumb insurance questions... nothing. It was fantastic! The password for the wifi had been changed and we couldn't access it, but after one quick call to silvercar they walked us through resetting it and everything worked perfectly. Drop off was a tad dicey and I'm really glad I called ahead to let them know there were 5 of us because well... silver car only has cars that seat five. Typically, you come to their off site location with the car and they drive you to the airport. This doesn't work when there are five of you to drop off. They ended up calling us an Uber AND they let us take the carseat with and paid that uber driver to bring it back to them. They were going to just meet us at the airport and get the car from us but the guy working that day was flying solo or something. They jumped through the hoops and made it work though. This is, hands down, the best rental car company there is.
