| - I have an 2005 Mercedes ML350. While visiting family in Middleton from Chicago, My car stalled out. I thought maybe the battery was dead, so i went out and replaced the battery. The car ran fine for a day, before going back to the same issue.
Pro: Back in July 2016, My best friend previously worked with Mitchel and was happy with the price and work done on his car, so i gave Mitchel a try. Knowing that the Mercedes dealership easily charges $200 an hour plus labor, calling Mitchel was an easy decision.
Mitchel came out and found problems with some electrical wires, and the Alternator. He did the work the same day.
**Update: Two years have gone by & everything was good. I am having issues with the alternator again. My ML350 Sucks. I currently live in IL and unable to drive the car to Middleton. Mitchell gives a 1 year Guarantee on Labor, and the Alternator still has a Guarantee. I informed Mitchel of my issue and informed me that he could warranty the part. I am a DIY, and I now have the tools to remove the Alternator. Mitchel called the store to warranty the part, so that is a big plus for me, and Mitchel for going out of his way to help me out.
Cons: You will need to be patient, If you need your car fixed the same day, you will need to pay someone else a pretty penny for the convenience. You can expect Mitchell to call you back within 24hrs. The phone will ring, but he does not pick up. Texting him will probably be your best bet. He is a mobile mechanic with no office support or assistant. I would assume he is able to keep his prices low cause his overhead is low. So, if you can be patient, Madison Mobile Mechanic is for you.
Bottom Line, Mitchel is highly knowledgeable and experienced with quick turnaround when he works on your car, I highly recommend Capitol Mobile Mechanic if you want to save money and can be without your car for a couple of days.
