I expected a lot from Tiffany & Co, but unfortunately came up short. I still don't know the name of the sales representative who assisted me. The security guard at the door had more personality. Coming from a sales background myself, I sometimes look forward to being "sold" things. Unfortunately this boiled down to walking around the store browsing without the representative saying much at all. Come on, people! Start up a conversation and connect with your customers!
I did end up making a purchase. Unfortunately, the bracelet had an issue with the clasp and fell off my wife's wrist - 2 weeks after we bought it. Luckily she was able to track down the business that it had disappeared in and they held onto it for her. When we took the bracelet back in, the gentleman who helped us was much more personable than the original sales rep was and was happy to help us despite the fact that the store was closing. We were told several times that the bracelet would have to be sent in for repairs. it wasn't until I questioned whether it could be simply exchanged in store that they offered to do so.
I get the feeling that this would be a better shopping experience if they felt you were a high-end buyer. Based on the original sales experience, I would not return to this location.
