Came here for a pre-show snack since my mother & I forgot to eat beforehand. We didn't have a reservation but were seated promptly since they had seats at the bar. That sounded fine to us since we were grabbing a quick bite before our show. The bar seating was a little tight. I had to pull out a chair to fit into the bar & it took them a while to realize that the chair was sitting there behind a guest's table before they moved it away. Busy night though so understandable.
We ordered some white wines, sea bass, & Hawaiian snapper. The food was satisfying but nothing I'm raving & ranting about considering the Steve Wynn price we paid for it. Also it is a tapas bar so the portions are very small. This really is not the place to have a full meal unless you're willing to pay hundreds of dollars to fill your tummy.
Our bartender was a sweet & attentive girl. She checked up on us frequently & did a good job. However our food was brought to us abruptly from behind from a different server which made me jump in my seat each time because I don't like being crept up on. I would have preferred if they had brought it from behind the bar. If I had been seated at a table that wouldn't bother me but because it was at the bar it was weird. The food delivery situation was uncomfortable for me.
The ambiance was very dark & sexy. They've got a hip bar & the restaurant decor was very tasteful. Kind of rustic & European looking. I think this would be a nice casual date night spot if you're willing to pay a pretty penny.
I wouldn't mind coming here again if an occasion brought me back.
