  • I'm surprised at the dismal reviews El Pepin has gotten so far. It may not magically transport you to the streets of Barcelona, but all in all it's a good effort at a Spanish dining experience. The food is pretty good. There is a flamenco stage in the middle of the restaurant where local dancers provide lively entertainment (call ahead for times). Plenty of regulars seem to dine here, so when the dancing starts the crowd gets into it, which adds to the festive atmosphere. I've been here on dates and even celebrated New Year's Eve here one year, and never had a bad experience.
