  • Next to the West Side Market, this IS the best grocery store on Earth. I used to work at grocery stores and am a bit of a snob, but here the excel. Most, if not all, of the product is front facing, the produce is picked through and fantastically displayed, the variety is amazing, the bakery items look and taste great, the meat / deli even have fresh dog bones for crap sake, can't say enough about the prepared foods or the on-site restaurant, but most of all and maybe the the most important is that the people that work there actually love their jobs. If I am making something that requires some off the wall ingredient, there is a 95% chance that Whole Foods will have it. Unfortunately it is a bit of a drive for me and the parking does stink but I still feel like a kid in a candy store when I walk into this place.
