I am not sure that I will ever forget this place. I tend to eat so much Asian food and I love Thai the most. I feel that this is at good as it gets without being in Thailand and I want to try ALL of their menu!
I loved the decor... and the service.
We got to sit near the bar and admire everything. It almost seems like you are sitting in a giant basket with all the woven work above you.
To start, we got crispy shrimp spring rolls. SO good, well executed. SO good that they were gobbled up before the photo opp.
I got the red curry as my main, 8/10 on the spice level and it did not disappoint. It is the best red curry that I have ever had. Pineapple, bamboo shoots.. everything was in there. Make sure and order jasmine rice on the side to really enjoy it. I had half to take home as leftovers. I like that they come to your table to fill the to-go boxes with your food.
My dinner partner had sweet and sour chicken and she enjoyed it. It had a kick to it, that is for sure. I give that dish a 5 too. (She gave it a 3 which shocked me a bit but it is all a matter of taste!)
If I could tele-transport myself back there right now I would. Hanging out at Aria for any reason is always a good time too.
