  • As a general rule, sports facilities make for poor concert venues. The Kohl Center proves this to be doubly true. Metal roof, concrete floor = bad sound. We had good seats for the Foo Fighters tonight but everything sounded like it was being shot out of a metal tube. I'm sure the place is great for Big 10 action but a concert without a beer is just bad. The Beatles could reunite here for a once only show and I'd take a pass. The staff were friendly but I won't be back.
