They earn the 4 because they have Mill Street brews, specifically the Tankhouse Ale (mmmmmm) on tap. The chicken sandwich jumped off the menu for me because it included guacamole and it was very good. But hey, most places should do chicken sandwiches well right?
I was meeting my book club on a Thursday evening and since it was my month, I picked the venue (and the book, Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, which I would also recommend). I called on the Monday and with a group fewer than 10, was not able to make a reservation. But I was assured that there were no special events so we didn't have any trouble getting a table. We sat in the first floor front room, could hear each other speak and also got to people-watch the diverse clientele as they waited to be seated.
Our server was very good and coincidentally he was reading the same book, based on a recommendation from another book club who met there the week before. I wonder if they are also reading East of Eden this month?
