The doctors seem to know what they are doing as far as treatments and surgery. Unfortunately they don't seem to care much about pain management. It seems they care more about kissing the FDA's butt than helping their patients deal with pain.
Their phone system is awkward to navigate. Just wait until you need pain killers and you try to call them. Count your blessing if you get what you need in 3 or 4 days.
I talked to Hedley about knee replacement. He seemed somewhat arrogant and when I asked him questions he mostly told me to ask his medical assistant. He basically wanted me to shut up and accept whatever he told me was good for me. For that I paid a $120 office visit.
I had reconstructive ACL surgery in the early 1990s from a very good doctor at Hedley's. I was in excruciating pain and yet couldn't get them to give me a prescription for pain when I ran out of the few pills they gave me post op. It was exhausting and depressing to constantly call them and argue for relief from my pain. They were very callous!
So now in 2016 I'm having knee problems and I'm facing total knee replacement. Guess what? I don't know if I will choose them because of my previous experience.
