  • I wish I could give negative stars on this review, but it won't let me. I had to use this ridiculous excuse for a repair company because they work with my home warranty company. The tech was rude, said he would not change out the control panel on my washer as it was "cosmetic only" and they would not get paid from the home warranty company if they did so. He pulled out the washer dryer from the closet in which it has been in for years and then would not put it back as he said it would not fit. My unit is rental and I can't rent it with a washer dryer in the hall! I later got a call from my home warranty company stating that Protech told them that my washer was new and that is why it would not fit in the closet. This was a bold face lie and just another example of how this business operates in a fraudulent manner. I am quite frankly surprised Old Republic will even do business when them. Numerous calls to Protech have gone unanswered and now I am left with a rental unit that has a washer in my hallway. I of course can't get anyone on the phone to handle this so they are not gifted with what seems to be the trend in poor reviews. This is by far the worst experience I have ever dealt with any repair issue in my life. Oh, and they charge a service call fee but don't accept credit cards. RED FLAG.
