I'll start with the good: The fries are hand cut in-house and pretty darn good; think Five-Guys or In-n-Out. They're soft, but have a great potato taste & go well with the Malt Vinegar.
The bad: Wife ordered a chicken philly and got served a beef philly. When you consider that you turn in a filled out slip of paper to order your food, that's a pretty crappy error. Because I ordered a "Full Basket of Onion Rings", the wife didn't order a side...big mistake.
The Full Basket of Rings featured a whopping SEVEN onion rings. That's it. 7. I guess the half-basket comes with 3 1/2.
The Philly sandwiches feature fast-food style, frozen shaved steak, have a meh flavor, and come on a run-of-the-mill roll...nothing amazing here.
Overall, it's a cheap dive to grab a bite if you're desperate and need to avoid McD or BK, but that's about it. Hit Carolina Ale House if you want a decent meal at nearly the same price.
