  • Another one of my favorite spots in Charlotte. I had the turkey hash today, and it was PERFECT. Turkey with gravy on top of roasted potatoes and topped with an over medium egg and melted cheese. Our food came out piping hot, and so was the coffee. The turkey hash looked so delicious when it came out that I accidentally cut into it before snapping a picture! I was ready to dig in, and ended up stuffing my face! The biscuit with apple butter is one of my favorite things about the Flying Biscuit, it is definitely one of their staples. Everything comes out tasting homemade and fresh. Staff is always friendly and service is on point. There is usually a wait here on the weekends during breakfast hours, so we like to go around lunchtime. I also recommend one of the many flavored mimosas and the espresso shot. ***UPDATE*** I had this place at 5 stars, but had to drop them to 4 when I've recently had poor service here. The last time I went for a late lunch, my server wasn't helpful with the menu at all, acted as if we were taking up too much of her time, and never got a coffee or water refill for the whole sitting.
