  • Purchased annual passes to Carowinds park and took two of my youngest granddaughters (6 & 4) yesterday. Had a great time. The new "kiddy park" is perfect for young kids and grand parents too. Every ride is designed for small kids and within walking distance. After we spent several hours on the rides we changed and went to the splash park. This was perfect too! My only complaint is the lack of signage in the park. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out where stuff was on the map or asking staff for directions. There was plenty of advertising signs but few if any direction signs. I guess Carowinds management expects you to walk around with that map all day.
