  • Came here for a groupon deal for deep tissue massage. It was $80 for two one hour sessions. Drove in to find this looks like a house turned into a Healing Center. Plenty of parking in the back. Up front, the reception area is very clean and modern looking. Front desk staff was very friendly. So walking back to my massage, I passed a few exam rooms (chiropractors here) and a yoga studio. The actual massage room didn't have a lot of zen like atmosphere like other places I've been to had. No fancy aromatherapy. There was some faint music in the background. Linens appeared clean. My first masseuse was a young fellow and I was expecting him to be strong but even though I requested he keep massaging harder (i love deep tissue) i wasn't sure if he just didn't want to hurt me but he just didn't get the fact that I wanted a deep tissue massage. If I didn't have the two session deal I would not have come back. Lucky I did though, my second masseuse on another day was Maria. She had the hands and skill of a massage veteran. She could just palpate where all my knots were and I only had to tell her once at the very beginning that I wanted deep tissue massage with hard pressure and she knew what I was looking for. Mission was accomplished here. Will come back for another massage here, but definitely request Maria!
