Let me preface this review by saying that the service was so slow I can only assume one of their servers called in sick. There were only two servers on the floor (and no bartender or any other wait staff) which was nowhere near enough. I went there last weekend, and was disappointed at having a long wait between every step of the meal (including even ordering drinks).
For an appetizer myself and my companion ordered two orders of the chickpea fries on the servers recommendation that one would not be enough. The fries were pretty tasty (I have never had chickpea fries before, so I have nothing to compare them too) but two orders was way too much. I barely made it through my order and my friend barely finished half of hers.
What seemed like hours later, our main course arrived. I had the 'crispy duck' which was more tough than crispy. It was served on a bed of lentils, which I felt were completely unremarkable. I have made better lentils at home. My friend had the red snapper which was much better. Personally I thought it was just ok, but my friend really enjoyed it.
However, the highlight of the meal was the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies we had for desert. If you do end up going here, you must order these! Delicious!!!
They were also pretty generous in filling up my wine glass, which was nice.
All in all, I think the poor service probably tainted my experience. I probably won't go back here, but if the service improved it could be a decent place.
