This is the place that originally made me think about getting on Yelp. If I had been a member on my first visit I probably would have slammed the place.
On the first visit, I was a tad overwhelmed by the menu so I ordered up bacon cheeseburger wrap for $7.99. I was shocked at how small it was for the price which did not include fries.
The dude behind the counter at that time was mute and offered little assistance.
The saving grace was the cheese tatter tots ($4.99) which where pretty damn good.
I also found it odd that the soda machine was turned around thus having to ask for a refill.
As I am now Yelping, I thought that I would go and give ECE another shot. I want to write with a sense of objectivity rather than emotion....Well, maybe a little emotion.
Today I walked in and stared at the menu wondering what I should try. I asked the guy behind the counter what he would recommend and he said "Steak Bomb" and so I ordered one ($9.99).
While making my transaction, I accidentally insulted him by asking him if he was for Pittsburgh. My Bad! What do I know about east coast sports rivalries? Hell, I am from California! He jokingly threatened to throw me out of the shop.
Upon receiving my Steak Bomb it came packed with steak on a really tasty roll with roasted green peppers, mushrooms and melted American cheese.
As i reflect back on the Steak Bomb and my lack of basic sports territorial boundaries, if my man was really going to toss me out I hope he would have let me take my Steak Bomb with me as I enjoyed it very much.
Three stars now with the possibility of more later.
