I live nearby and this was my very first visit to this nail salon. After choosing a color I went to sit in Don's chair. He removed my gel nails and it went downhill from there. He filed my nails without looking at them. I came in with a rounded shape and after his filing they were flat on top and round on the edges. I had to ask him to correct the shape of my nails. Later he went to get a tool box that was full of nail dust. It did not look sterile to me, so right away I told him I did not want any cutting of my skin. Don gave me a long hand/arm massage and that part was really good. At the end of all this he painted my nails. He put so much polish on my nails it was literally dripping off my nail bed onto my skin. I told him it was too much polish it would not dry, it would bubble etc., but he said he'd fix it. His idea of fixing it was to dip a brush into a bottle of acetone and run over my skin. This did not fix it it just moved the polish around. I had polish on the front and backsides of my hand! Don had to eat his lunch and so I paid for the service to another male nail tech. I showed him my nails and told him I was unhappy. He saw the polish all over my skin and lumpy on my nails. He told me that he wanted to fix it and he called Don back to the front. I allowed Don to take the polish off and only apply a clearcoat. I am back at home now and I removed that too. I will not be back to the salon but I highly encourage you to tell your employees to not rush through the service and to pay attention to what they're doing. Best of luck to you guys!
