| - Finally, a room that gets Bellagio off it's high horse, and treats players as guests instead of initials on the board to be called and fill a seat.
The chairs and atmosphere are excellent, and the dealers are as good as any property anywhere. The games from 1-3 through 5-10 NLHE have plenty of action. Plus they run some unusual stuff (20-40 HORSE, 9-18 8 game) that'll shake up your game if you're in a hold 'em rut. You'll also get a fair share of celebrity players as well if you're into star watching (I think Tony Parker refusing to pick up from our juicy 5-10 game after Eva pleaded with him to leave might have been the beginning of the end).
The comps here are great too, and work at the buffet, Cafe Vettro, as well as the sports bar next door (get the ice cream lollipops). I think you get $1.50 an hour for 2-5 and higher, but sometimes they run specials to increase that even more.
And if you're a Venetian or Bellagio player on their interminable lists to get a safe deposit box, I played here 3-4 days a week for only a couple months, and was given a box without any issue. Staff is also great about texting or calling you if your seat is available and you're out somewhere dining or at the pool.
Venetian is still the leader in the clubhouse for low to mid limit action, but this place is closing fast. And the quality of the staff and service far surpasses the rudeness and haughty attitude next door at Bellagio. Many of the staff are ex employees of the B, and it's almost like they took everyone that hated the way the room was run and moved them next door. And that's why this place is the rising star of poker rooms on The Strip.
